The aggravated contradictions between cultures different in structure and orientation: humanitarian and technocratic determine the importance of conducting research that determines the structure and content of modern education. The socio-cultural environment in which the student lives and evelops is characterized by lack of spirituality and immorality, lack of sensitivity and ompassion, blurring of values and meanings of life. In this regard, the author considers it important and relevant to determine the pedagogical conditions that ensure the formation of humanitarian thinking in schoolchildren. The theoretical importance of the ongoing research is confirmed by the expansion of the existing pedagogical theoretical ideas about the possibility of using humanitarian knowledge, as well as the clarification of the pedagogical conditions that affect its formation. The author suggests the prerequisites for further study of the topic being raised, and on the basis of the data of the pedagogical experiment confirms the elevance of the problem posed and the organization of the educational model of the hildren's health camp shift.
